On May 20th, the 11th International Business Association Trade and Investment Fair 2025, jointly organized by the Xi'an Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Xi'an Investment Cooperation Bureau, was successfully held in Xi'an. More than 200 diplomatic envoys, heads of international business associations, and representatives of Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs from multiple countries gathered together to explore new paths in trade and investment and build new bridges for international cooperation. Ran Hongbin, President of Xi'an Council for the Promotion of International Trade, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizer, and Rena, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Madagascar in China, delivered a speech on behalf of the guests. The Xi'an Civil Affairs Bureau was invited to promote the 3rd Xi'an International Elderly Care Industry Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Xi'an Elderly Care Expo").

On behalf of the Xi'an Civil Affairs Bureau, Wang Dali, Director of the Aging Work Department, gave a special presentation on the 3rd Xi'an Elderly Expo, highlighting the important improvements made in five aspects of the exhibition. Firstly, the scale of the exhibition has increased significantly, with the exhibition area expanding from 26000 square meters in the second edition to 32000 square meters in this edition; Secondly, the exhibition covers the entire industry chain of the silver economy, with 12 major exhibition areas including elderly care services, smart elderly care, rehabilitation aids, medical and elderly care integration, elderly care finance, and travel and health care; Thirdly, by creating scenarios such as home-based aging and smart elderly care technology applications, we aim to provide audiences with immersive elderly care solution experiences; Fourthly, more than 20 events were held to facilitate exchanges and connections, and to support industrial cooperation; The fifth is to use full media links and multi-channel promotion to report on participating companies and promote products from a new perspective and in a new way, expanding the brand influence of the Xi'an Old Expo.

The 3rd Xi'an Elderly Expo, with the theme of "Qin style Silver Age Nourishing Chang'an", will be held from September 18 to 20, 2025 at Hall 1 and Hall 2 of Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center. The planned exhibition area is 32000 square meters, and it is expected that more than 500 domestic and foreign elderly care enterprises will participate in the exhibition, showcasing over 3000 types of elderly care products and services. It is expected that 80000 visitors will come to visit and purchase. The Xi'an Elderly Expo is jointly hosted by the Xi'an Municipal People's Government and the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, and jointly organized by the Xi'an Civil Affairs Bureau, Xi'an Commerce Bureau, Xi'an Chanba International Port Management Committee, Guangdong Cross Procurement Exhibition Co., Ltd., and Shaanxi International Economic and Trade Exhibition Group Co., Ltd. It is committed to building the most influential platform for cooperation and exchange in the elderly care industry in the northwest region. Through various forms such as exhibition display, conference exchange, supply and demand docking, cooperation signing, and visits and inspections, it promotes the coordinated development of the elderly care industry and helps the high-quality development of the silver economy.

During the conference, officials and representatives from Xi'an Civil Affairs Bureau, Guangdong Cross Procurement Exhibition Co., Ltd., Xi'an Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Japan External Trade Organization, and other units had in-depth exchanges. All parties have reached a consensus to invite international elderly care companies such as Japan to participate in the 3rd Xi'an International Elderly Care Industry Expo, and will work together to enhance the internationalization level and influence of the exhibition.
